Broadcom and intel could fit into the bad, and non existing support section.
But it also depends on use case.

If you are looking for well-supported wifi chipset brands, I recommend MediaTek. Not just wifi chipsets: full System-on-chip (MT7622, MT7623, Filogic 830), wifi (too numerous to mention, but notably MT7615 and MT7915), and ethernet (MT7530).
MediaTek has become my go-to brand.
