Why not edit your existing posts instead of replying to yourself? That saves you one post in that topic.
can't edit, the system gave a message that the post was too old...

The New user restrictions quickly disappear when the user is active in the forum. The bigger your interest in the content of the forum, the quicker the restrictions will go away.
Usually there is no admin interaction needed, as you can see on this example
