I am able to select 20 dBM but had left it at "driver default".
But indeed 2.5G is not working for me, but maybe ther's a network setup issue on my side, I have modified br-lan to bridge eth0.9 my VLAN ID 9, the device is able to pickup an IP over DHCP and even when I'm setting it a static IP on my network I am able to administer it, it is able to ping my opnSense router, I can ping it, all fine.
I can connect a client device to it using 2.5G it is able to get an IP over DHCP (my opnSense router does provide DHCP on this VLAN9), but even giving the client a static IP still doesn't work : from the wifi client I can't ping either to the AP or my router both being on VLAN9... Reverse is also true, router can't ping the wifi client
Maybe a config issue on my end, firewall in openwrt I'm quite unfamiliar with...
Thx @Morpheus68 ! But sadly WIFI doesn't work any better for me, regardless of the WPA level or even on open network, not able to even ping the wireless AP nor the router it's connected to
I must have had something broken in my config that I previously kept while flashing your build that prevented wireless to work...
I have reflashed without keeping the config and set it up again and now wireless seems to work fine, vlans work fine... All good.
Only thing, probably you can't help it, upgrading packages or installing new ones fails mostly claiming a reference to a kernel that doesn't exist or read-only filesystem.
Probably this can be fixed when someone accepts your patch for mainstream?
Again, even as is the device is useful to me whereas it wasn't before your build so thanks a lot!
