So here I am again.
After setting up my Router as 2nd router (AP), all works well until I noticed that watching twitch stream stutters. Both WiFi and LAN connection suffers the same.
I can play HD(4K) contents from YT, Vimeo and other sites; but Twitch stutters.
When I connect to the main router (Landlords Router) twitch stream is smooth.
Any idea what could be the issue?
Note:I haven't touched Firewall nor QoS. Its all default.
What's the make/model of your second router? Linksys 1900 ACS.
How is the OpenWrt connected to the landlord's router? Connected via LAN.
If other sites "play nice," why do you suspect the OpenWrt? Works on direct connection to landlord.
Did reset and used default OpenWRT config. Still the same.
Are you plugged into WAN or LAN port on your device?
Yes by Ethernet.
From landlord's router LAN to my Linksys WAN port.
Still can't figure out whats's wrong.
I used a friends D-Link DWR-953 Router and it works fines.
Do you have any suggestion or idea I could try.
Months past and I haven't figured out why Twitch or Mixer is so slow and stutters even at 480p.
Other video streaming site are perfectly fine.
Stocks settings. no changes made.
