Want to buy a OpenWRT One

Are the 1Gbps port and 2.5Gbps port two separate ethernet interfaces?

The OpenWrt One router needs a USB Typ-C Power Supply. You can use basically any, as long as it supports USB PD (Power Delivery) with 15 volts.

I had the same issue (except AU RCM certified). FYI the supplied PSU is a 30W usb-c supply with 15V@2A. So I bought one from a local office supply (because that was the only one I could find in blue).

I'm guessing these buy links are the same as listed https://docs.banana-pi.org/en/OpenWRT-One/BananaPi_OpenWRT-One#_easy_to_buy_sample?

The first 2 links show "Sorry, this item is no longer available" and the 3rd one returns a page in a language I do not understand.

So I did something I normally never do, click on the "Shopping" category in the DuckDuckGo search results ... and found a link on AliExpress which seems to work. But that's from a company called "chipboard Store" ...
I never bought from AliExpress before and that's for a large part due to the pages I see look sketchy as hell and lacking useful information. And then I see various offers of what seem like the same product (but that's hard to verify (for me)), for wildly different prices.

I really want to buy the device, but I never heard of "chipboard Store" before, so I wont.
You really make it hard for people to actually buy the device :open_mouth: :slightly_frowning_face:

You can also look on the Bpi web site to find official partners in your area/country.

I'd have expected that info to be in this thread ... and thanks to you, it now is, so thanks for that
And it looks like I did the right thing by following my instinct and not buy the device from "chipboard Store".

'In my defense' I did start from https://docs.banana-pi.org/en/OpenWRT-One/BananaPi_OpenWRT-One which seems like a logical start.

Based on your suggestion, I opened the main Bpi website and found https://bananapiwarehouse.com/ (from the European Simac link ...) and also tried conrad.nl ... neither is aware of the existence of the OpenWrt One.

Like I said, it's WAY too difficult to actually buy the device.

Aliexpress is one of the biggest plattform worlwide.

Different sellers from china offer their goods for the global market there. I had never problems with Aliexpress.

The seller you mentioned "chipboard Store" sells electronic stuff:

And in my view the shop has a good reputation!

And it is not great?

But it's looks like the open WRT one device is not as good as we think, not?
Miss some things on it.

And why this website here, on the forum or on the open WRT website, there is no link to buy it directly?

OpenWRT cannot handle distribution for obvious reasons. They simply get a small fee on each unit sold. You can look for local distributors in your country when available as RuralRoots linked above.

But there are many available here and there but is it possible that those are not the official one?

Understood. I actually reached out to the 3 partners in my country advising the Bpi web site link with the device details. At the time they also were not aware of the product. FWIW, once availability was announced, I was contacted a couple of weeks later by one partner to announce availability here.

See the original announcement to see how distribution is envisioned:

Back in stock in small quantities, so if you want to purchase, take a look at us.

In the meantime, we are sending OpenWrt One stock to US and German Amazon warehouses in time for the Chinese New Year to solve the import problem.

Hi. Could you please share the link to Amazon .de and .com?

are you saying the search field at those pages is broken ?

What I'm saying is that I dunno which store are waiting stock.

Nice to now where to look @frollic . Get it?

In US :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Not, yet, in Germany.

:adhesive_bandage:^10 for my fingertips.

Guess @LilRedDog didn't get it too
