Wake on LAN broadcast port 9 issues

Does OpenWRT block port 9 or something? My old router had no issues with WOL, when I moved to OpenWRT I noticed all my WOL apps stopped working until I switched from broadcast port 9 to 7.

Now everything works, except apps that do not now allow you to set a broadcast port.
