VPN slows internet speeds

My VPN router is slowing my internet down is there a way to fix that without turning the VPN off or is that my only option?

If you have a VPN you have to expect a drop in performance. All of your traffic has to be encrypted and incoming traffic has to be decrypted.

The performance of your VPN depends on which device and VPN protocol you're using.
