Hello what is the correct setting in pbr app for a backup server on the Lan?
Should I direct the IP to the wan interface or to the VPN interface since there is no option to ignore the IP of the backup server?

It depends on how your backup nas is connected to the outside world and what the default route of your router is.
The Nas is connected to a switch together with the rest of my Lan devices. The switch is then connected to the router running pbr. Default route is wan. Nas is only meant to be accessed from Lan.
Ok then what is the problem?
Is the nas not accessible from the lan?
