Hello all - I hoping this is something simple but I cant figure it out. I reviewed some posts on here but still not luck.
My ISP needs LAN 35 in order to work....can someone point me in the right direction to enable this?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
I'm trying to configure my OpenWRT Asus AC58U router with my new ISP. On their forums they say that it is only needed to turn the ONT mode on on the ISP router, connect my own router WAN port to the LAN 4 port of the ISP router and then configure VLAN 832 in DHCP mode and it should work.
My current /etc/config/netwrok is:
config interface 'loopback'
option ifname 'lo'
option proto 'static'
option ipaddr '127.0.0.1'
option netmask '255.0.0.0'
config globals 'globals'
option ula_pref…
Hello,
my internet provider requires vlan 7. I have tried a couple of settings without success. It remains unclear to me
which ports to tag
how, i.e. "tagged, untagged, off
Probably straight forward, but it is too much for my stretched brain
The switch ports on my Archer C7 v2 are
0
eth1
1
WAN
2
LAN1
3
LAN2
4
LAN3
5
LAN4
6
eth0
The corresponding section in /etc/config/network at the moment is:
config switch_vlan
option device 'switch0'

Hi
I am planning to switch my Service provider and go for 1GB download and 500MB upload. Service provider gave an option to use my own router. I have a X86 router with Openwrt installed. To have internet I have create a VLAN for IPTV and internet.
For IPTV its VLAN4 and for internet its VLAN6. I dont have much knowledge or experience creating VLAN by myself. I need help to create for new connection.
I dont use IPTV so need to configure it for internet. I play games on XBX and PS5 mostly…
Vodaforn Greece uses 2 VLANs:
835 for Internet and used PPPoe
837 as VOIP applications. Only asterisk will consume this interface for outgoing traffic
I managed to make my router connect into internet via VDSL via:
config device
option name 'br-lan'
option type 'bridge'
list ports 'lan1'
list ports 'lan2'
list ports 'lan3'
list ports 'lan4'
config interface 'wan'
option device 'dsl0.835'
option proto 'pppoe'
option username '^USERNAME^'
option password…
note, configuration might have "moved" if your device uses DSA.

I use an SR501 bridged modem for acanac dsl in Ottawa. The ptm WAN interface is left tagged at vlan35. Here is a shot of my wan interface on the router (Bananapi M1 with UE300 wan interface):
