VGV7519 from OpenWrt to LEDE

Can you make a dump from your full nor flash?
It would be nice to try that...

Please ignore the VGV7519 OpenWRT FAQ because it poorly written and mostly copied from similar device anyway.
Sorry but I can't make a full backup as for now. But I just tested 17.01.4 and it works without any issue:

An other theory was that some changes added in the pci part of the kernel but when 17.01.4 working on VGV7519 then i am wrong

Please follow the tutorial I linked earlier exactly like he stated all the steps. Also use his uboot after bitswapping, he mentions how this should be done. Uboot is proably not the issue here because it's only used to boot the kernel which is working anyway. Thats all the bootloader does, once the kernel takes over uboot is basically stopped.

I personally don't think that there is anything wrong with LEDE. Atleast not the 17.01.x releases. And creating a non-WiFi versions seems useless to me, this does not restore the board-config partition. This is where the device specific configuration like mac/wifi-firmware etc is. This is also the error he is seeing. Like my bootlog mentions that it successfully loaded the eeprom his bootlog does not. This is something wrong on that device's flash and not LEDE.

Please use the backup images from github I linked earlier, please note that this overwrites your mac and such. But atleast you should have a working version afterwards. Also I saw you made a backup maybe flash that and see if the original firmware boots again.

The ARV7519KW (aka KPN Experia Box v8) seems to have been distributed by KPN, a dutch (and belgian) telecommunications company.

Its actually a VGV7519 to be precise. The ARV was a earlier model. It has been distributed around Europe under many different names and rebrands.

Also another note, I think it's best to add a note in the OpenWRT's WiKi that the information there is horribly outdated and incorrect. Anyone disagrees?

The problem is time. One thing that's hard with these kind of WiKi's is that if they are incomplete and people that don't completely understand the theory start following the instructions they will eventually fail. And end up with a bricked device.

So that's what I want to temporary overcome by adding a note. So they get notified that not all information is correct and shouldn't be blindly executed. That's also what I read more and more here in the forums. People don't always want a correct step-by-step instruction booklet, they want to be informed if something is out of the ordinary.
