VGV7519 from OpenWrt to LEDE

Hello,

I've installed on my Experia Box v8 a.k.a. VGV7519 OpenWRT today. Now i want to update to LEDE, but having some troubles with that. Normally i use the sysupgrade and flash it with LuCi. But this didn't work today
This is what i did:

When i have correctly calculated them should

erase 0xB0080000 +0xF80000

delete from after uboot to the end.
But I can wrong do these steps only if you know how you can return.

you should use the newest u-boot from LEDE trunk possible that here are the board_config partition are inside.

And i think the secret of "... not in flash!" message are that a really 2 x 8 MB Flash be used.

But i am not shure.
My problem is that i am Hobbyist not a Developer, I can equal and hack somthing inside the dts files but for example i can say what the meaning of fpi@10000000 are.
So I am shure that the develper from the mailinglist: https://lists.infradead.org/mailman/listinfo/lede-dev know the answer what must be changed that the WLAN will work.

But i will equal both in peace, but it need some days time.

I'm also using the VGV7519, I tested this target during it's development in LEDE/OpenWRT. But had no problems going from OpenWRT to LEDE and so on. I was able to flash it trough sysupgrade.

I'm still running LEDE 17.01.0 so it would be nice if you could try that release as well? See if that works, because I'm running it on multiple VGV7519's and they all work just fine.

Another thing is that I also tested a Sitecom WLR-6000 which is not fully supported in LEDE and also had a kernel panic with the mediatek wireless drives but I moved that to a later time. Because it was not fully supported anyway. But since you are also having that same issue on a mediatek device maybe a recent commit could have damaged the support for these devices.

So long story short, could you give LEDE 17.01.0 a try?

I used indeed that website but for u-boot install over serial i used https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/arcadyan/vgv7519

On openwrt it says erase all so i did. Openwrt is by the way running fine, bit i want the recent lede.

The reason is at my experiens on VGV7510KW22 was that i get some strange errors when i do not.
The reason i thing was that some data from the old image make trouble but it was never ended in reboot loop and i can remove it by pressing the reset button.
Now i use always sysupgrade -n FILENAME

On the VGV7510KW22 is at the end of flash a board_config section that should not override.
But i thing it totally differ from the VGV7519

After eqal the OpenWRT log and LEDE log i thing

is wrong, because the same error are in the working OpenWRT image.
