Using transmission to store on NAS

Is there any way for a torrent client (transmission or any other) to use NAS storage for storing the downloaded file.
My Setup
Using openwrt on GL-AR300M. My WAN connection goes in this router. It is connected to another wireless router via LAN port which has USB port and can share files over FTP/SMB. Is there anyway I can access this USB share from openwrt and allow transmission to directly download here?

The best option is to install Transmission Daemon on the NAS and manage it with Transmission Remote or Transmission Web from your PC.

its kind of makeshift nas. The other wireless router is not openwrt compatible

Well, you can mount an SMB share like this:
https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/services/nas/cifs.client
However, you have to decide for yourself whether this is reliable enough or not.
