Using old config for new vpn install?

Hi,

Would using the old client.ovpn and server.config work if I do a fresh install of openvpn? As far as I can tell the only place it references the CA, KEY, etc are in those two files or is there elsewhere on the operating system?

It might work, but older (shorter) keys e.g. 1024 length are no longer supported.

Some settings might need to be updated but as a start just try the older configs

So I should just be able to rename the backup files in-order for it to work?
