Using AdGuardHome with NextDNS - Preference question

Hi all.

I am using AdGuardHome with NextDNS as my DNS server. I am wondering what's best; having the blocklists on AdGuardHome, or loaded directly into my NextDNS account. I am running this on a Raspberry Pi 4, so storage of lists is not an issue.

Is there any difference, or is it just preference?

Aren't those two doing the same thing ?

The hosted AGH should be faster, for FQDNs that are supposed to get blocked.

Pretty much, but NextDNS has AI driven protection which has been shown to be very effective against the latest phising sites - that's the only reason I'm using it too.
