Use PCF (Point Coordination Function) or HCCA from IEEE 802.11e

How can I configure my AP to use PCF or HCCA?
Do I need to configure the clients (like mobile phones) to use PCF or HCCA?
Any information about this is appreciated!

After some research, I find this may be impossible:

According to Certified Wireless Network Administrator Official Study Guide:
"It should be noted that the PCF medium access method was never adopted by WLAN vendors."
"Much like PCF, the HCCA medium access method has never been adopted by WLAN vendors."
