Uqmi - version?

Weah!

I am having trouble on GL.iNet XE300...

I have them with two different Quectel modems (EC25-E and EP06-E) and also one that I have put an Sierra Wireless MC7455 in, and I am having troubles with the Quectels on my self built images.

I can see that on my self built images I am having this version of uqmi " 2022-05-04-56cb2d40-1"

But when I am downloading 23.05.0 or 23.05.1 I am getting the following version of "uqmi - 2023-10-29-eea29240-1" but I cant find this as a package that I can install on my other devices to see if that fixes my problems ?

I also cant find this "latest version" for download, have checked here:

https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/23.05.1/targets/ath79/nand/packages/

23.05.1 has not been officially released, so it is likely that the package is still building.

You don't have to use QMI, especially if you're unhappy with it. The alternatives are MBIM and ECM.

I really like QMI - I have been using those modems a lot in OpenWRT 22.X but with 23.05.0 it only seems to work with the latest uqmi - that I cant find :frowning:

Solved the problem, those packages was missing:

kmod-usb-serial-option
kmod-usb-serial-wwan

Now it works just fine :sunglasses:
