I just recently connected an APC Back-UPS XS 1500 LCD, If it matters / helps i have the same UPS connected to OPNSense which is able to see and communicate with it.

When I opened the openwrt site to post in the forums I noticed that 24.10 was available, so I upgraded to it. With 23.05 and 24.10 the ups app / widget whatever will not load in the interface?

I have tried installing apcupsd-cgi and apcupsd neither one appears in the web interface. How do I get the configuration for the UPS to appear in the web interface?

Consider using nut and luci-app-nut instead.

I installed the apps suggested, I now have a Services tab with Network UPS tools as an option. However there is no option for USB connections.

My understanding that you already have another router controlling the UPS [over USB connection]. In this case your new router should talk to the first router over the network and not to the UPS directly.

I have two UPS' -- both are the same model, one is connected to OPNSense and one is connected to OpenWRT.

The one that OPNSense is able to communicate with the one it is connected too. Both are connected by USB with their own cable.

I have add a "device". I have more settings then you have in the images you provided, but I have filled in the ones you have. However I still am unable to find anywhere in the interface configuration options for the UPS. IE when to shutdown, battery install, etc
