Upgrading to 23.05.4 - basic question

Hi, sorry for the newbie question which probably has been asked many times, though I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.

I currently have:

GL.iNet GL-MT6000
OpenWrt 23.05.3 r23809-234f1a2efa / LuCI openwrt-23.05 branch git-24.073.29889-cd7e519
Kernel Version: 5.15.150

I plan to upgrade to 23.05.4.

Though I'm not sure if I do this, I lose my wifi settings?
And I also have Adguard and Watchat installed.

Are there any specific steps that I need to do to preserve my router setup?

Thanks

Within the same major version you can keep settings and it should all work. Using attended sysupgrade will also automatically reinstall your additional packages. If you use the pre-built sysupgrade file to upgrade, the configuration files for the additional packages will be saved, but you will need to manually reinstall the packages themselves.

Of course it is always a good idea to make a backup of the configuration and save it on your PC. The backup file is a tar archive which you can open to see the text config files inside if there are problems.

There are some problem with auc backend right now. But otherwise - yes - settings are preserved 23.05.0 ... 23.05-SNAPSHOT both ways.
