It's been some time since I've updated my installed pkgs and space is limited (92% full). Not sure how to proceed. Quite a few show they could be updated. Also unlike Apt, Opkg doesn't handle dependencies seamlessly. I don't want to create problems since my system is working fine now. So...just leave it alone? Update only some (important) pkgs? Or?
Instead of upgrading single packages, upgrade the complete OpenWrt release (if a new release is available). Apart from other aspects, this is much more space efficient than upgrading singe packages.

Upgrading packages (via the CLI opkg upgrade
command or the LuCI Upgrade...
button) can result in major problems. It is generally highly discouraged, unless you know what you are doing or if there is specific instruction to do so.
