Upgrade to 22.03.05 causes Luci to fail after 1 min

Yesterday I upgraded my Linksys e8450 from 22.03.0 to 22.03.05 using the sysupgrade method. But the Luci web interface only works for a minute after initial logon, then it stops responding. Closing the browser and reopening the router IP gives the " LuCI - Lua Configuration Interface" message for a couple minutes, then is replaced with
# Bad Gateway
The process did not produce any response

I can still access and manage the router via SSH. I looked at logread and get only the following:

Sat Jul 15 07:55:05 2023 kern.err kernel: [35826.636050] blk_update_request: I/O error, dev mtdblock2, sector 256 op 0x0:(READ) flags 0x0 phys_seg 1 prio class 0
    (*10 iterations of this statement*)
Sat Jul 15 07:55:05 2023 kern.warn kernel: [35826.665748] buffer_io_error: 26241 callbacks suppressed
Sat Jul 15 07:55:05 2023 kern.err kernel: [35826.665756] Buffer I/O error on dev mtdblock2, logical block 32, async page read
    (*10 iterations of this statement*)

In reading through the forum, it seems these messages are related not to an error situation, but to how the hardware is read by a driver.

I readily admit I'm not adept at working with the CLI or diagnosing issues with OpenWRT. How should I go about further diagnosing the Luci failure? Thank-you.

After some more searching, I came across Luci inaccessible after upgrade on 22.03.2 - #2 by frollic .

cp /rom/www/luci-static/resources/ui.js /www/luci-static/resources/ui.js
Then reload your browser / clear cache if needed.

Luci seems to be working better now. No lockup after a couple hours.
