Updating software on Access Point

Hi, I have configured an old wifi router as access point running openWRT

Model	TP-Link Archer C60 v2
Architecture	Qualcomm Atheros QCA956X ver 1 rev 0
Target Platform	ath79/generic
Firmware Version	OpenWrt 23.05.0 r23497-6637af95aa / LuCI openwrt-23.05 branch git-24.048.61449-c66fc92
Kernel Version	5.15.134

I am unable to update the software. Can't connect to internet from the AP device. I can access internet from the clients connected to this AP, but not from the host itself.

configure a default GW and add DNS IP(s).

@frollic , hi, yes setup to use main router IP as default GW and DNS.

then you need to provide an actual error message, and post your /etc/config/network.

bit of a silly mistake actually. forgot to reboot the device. Now it is working fine. Sorry about posting an issue hastily..
