Updating dns entry using nsupdate

I'm trying to update an dns entry using nsupdate. My nsupdate scripts work when run manually or at startup after reboot as i run it from under /etc/udhcpc.user.d/

However if the ip address changes it does not seem to re-run it from udhcpc.user.d

Couldn't get ddns-scripts package to work correctly.

Missing /etc/dhcp/dhclient-exit-hooks.d/

Any ideas appreciated on how to trigger the nsupdate script in openwrt

Ddns script works just fine.

Very unhelpful. nsupdate itself is clearly not at fault as that works. Have you actually got it working updating directly with a tsig key to a dns server?

Any reason there are no exit hooks or information on how ddns-scripts monitors ip changes?
