Unifi AP AC LR performance

I installed OpenWrt 23.05.4 on my Unifi AP AC LR. The performance does seem quite lacking however. I'm testing with a client with a Intel AX210 on Windows 10 using 80 Mhz on 5 Ghz. I get 250 Mbps down on Unifi's firmware, while OpenWrt gets more around 100 Mbps down. Unifi has quite stable latency under load at around 50ms. OpenWrt has more interesting behavior under load. The latency down from the AP is reasonably stable at 20 ms, but the latency up to the AP has spikes up to 75 ms. I'm wondering if this is expected.
