Unexpected end of JSON input - Cannot update

Hello,
I am openwrt newbie, not an IT expert.
I have updated openWRT to LuCI openwrt-21.02 on my Linksys WRT32X.
I am trying to install a software (wifi schedule).
But when I am trying to update to "update list" I got an error:
** Unable to execute opkg update command: SyntaxError: Unexpected end of JSON input**

I am in China so have to use a VPN server. I tried to connect to various severs on different location, without luck. Could someone help???

I've tried to install it and now it works!
