Understing the Boot

Hi, I have seen the tpl.bin of archer router and had 3 parts:
DECIMAL HEXADECIMAL DESCRIPTION

81136 0x13CF0 U-Boot version string, "U-Boot 1.1.3 (Dec 14 2020 - 11:30:16)"
132096 0x20400 LZMA compressed data, properties: 0x5D, dictionary size: 8388608 bytes, uncompressed size: 3642448 bytes
1442304 0x160200 Squashfs filesystem, little endian, version 4.0, compression:xz, size: 5379920 bytes, 793 inodes, blocksize: 131072 bytes, created: 2021-01-04 07:28:29

In firmware tftp install of openwrt had only 2 parts:
DECIMAL HEXADECIMAL DESCRIPTION

131584 0x20200 LZMA compressed data, properties: 0x6D, dictionary size: 8388608 bytes, uncompressed size: 7362269 bytes
2340524 0x23B6AC Squashfs filesystem, little endian, version 4.0, compression:xz, size: 3676470 bytes, 1313 inodes, blocksize: 262144 bytes, created: 2023-04-27 20:28:15

I would like know if in firmware of OpenWrt haven't the U-Boot system.
It's no necessary?
Anybody know this?

Thanks.

U-boot doesn't ship with the OpenWRT images, but I'm sure there are exceptions
Nor does Openwrt replace U-boot, but there are exceptions here too ,)
Some vendors include U-boot in their fw updates.
