Unbound: configuring local-zones and local-data through luci?

Hi,

I’m just trying to configure unbound on OpenWrt 25.12 though the luci-app-unbound.

Luci supports three different types of zones, i.e.

  • Authoritative (zone file)
  • Stub (forced recursion)
  • Forward (simple handoff)

but I don’t see where to configure local-zones and their local-data.

Is this still missing? Intentionally left to configure with files? Did I just miss it somewhere in luci?

There is no direct support for local-zones via UCI, so files seems to be the only way, except for the dnsmasq link to create local-zone / local-data from the dhcp config.
