Unable to install SQM package in 19.07.2

Hello,

I receive below error when trying to install SQM. I am quite a newbie about OpenWrt so bare with me please. Though, I know a little about Linux.

root@OpenWrt:~# opkg install luci-app-sqm

My TP-Link Archer C7 V5 device is running openwrt-19.07.1-ath79-generic-tplink_archer-c7-v5-squashfs os. Some more OS details can be seen below:

root@OpenWrt:~# uname -a
Linux OpenWrt 4.14.171 #0 Thu Feb 27 21:05:12 2020 mips GNU/Linux
root@OpenWrt:~# cat /etc/openwrt_version

I'm confused... "opkg" is trying to download packages from 19.07.2 (which has not been released), you claim to have installed 19.07.1, and the kernel version does not correspond to that version... What have you exactly done?

Sorry about my bad typo. I confirm that I have installed 19.07.2 (because 19.07.1 gave me some trouble with my 2.4GHz wifi).

I did not do anything special. Just found mentioned update in download list and installed it on my device.

I get below when I login

login as: root

So, I am indeed running 19.07.2 here. Also having problem installing SQM.

Interesting... there is a dirtree for 19.07.2: https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/19.07.2/

That's not an officially released thing yet. So I suggest sticking to .1 until the .2 is released and announced on the main openwrt.org webpage.

19.07.1 gives me trouble with my 2.4GHz WiFi and I am not willing to struggle with it while .2 is running fine.

I think I'll wait for 19.07.2 to be officially released and try again after.

Thanks.

The time has come.

@ertank - Try now. I installed that package and some others and opkg pulled them down just fine.
