Unable to connect via ssh to openwrt on google wifi gale with passwall 2 installed

Hi members,

I am unable to connect via ssh to openwrt installed on google wifi gale with passwall 2 installed on it. I tried by putty and by linux terminal and termius but always get connection refused. resetting or reinstalling is not an option as it came with many custom settings. What other options I have.I am using linux mint and all the other things are working fine. Just need to replace some passwall2 files in it.

Regards,

Maybe there's a language barrier here, but it seems insecure that you received some customizations you wouldn't have a backup of.

Does your device have a serial port?

Have you ever been able to SSH this device?

Sadly best option is to reset

Depends on your country

  • you have passwall components now included in OpenWrt

No OpenWrt after this line YMMV

  • ImmortalWrt has more of those esp if you are in Chine
  • Russian zapret is known to work fine in Turkey.

no man its Iran

i bought it configured and preinstalled and ready to use. and no it does not have a serial port.never tried doing SSH before but when I am stuck with a problem now I am trying. My problem is not openwrt, Its the passwall2 installed inside OpenWrt and I am unable to reach the tab which says node list in it.

Passwall is not made here....

i know brother. My concern is connecting to openwrt via SSH.

You should be able to connect OpenWrt in failsafe mode. Having that at least you know you can try to fix it up later. It takes a lot of expertise to fix it there: unless you remember last checkbox you clicked and you have to figure out how to revert that. (we can help you find it in conf files)

If you have a spare openwrt/immortalwrt capable router you can give it a try though.

PS I know it is not the best week for you to reinstall router now. It is kind of across the news.

Are you sure it was pre-installed with SSH ready to use?

sure bro.I have one TP-LINK WR940N v6. I will give it a try.

That will give some space if you really need to reset this one. Good luck!
