Unable to Access LuCI/SSH on CPE510 from FritzBox Network

Hello Community,

I am currently using a TP-Link CPE510 running OpenWRT, and I’m encountering an issue with my setup. Here’s the situation:

  1. The CPE510 connects to a remote WiFi network provided by a FritzBox 7590 GT in STA mode.
  2. I have also set up a new WiFi network on the CPE510 in AP mode, which works as expected.
  3. From the devices connected to the CPE510 (either via LAN or the AP WiFi network), I can:
  • Browse the internet,
  • Ping the FritzBox, and
  • Access LuCI and SSH on the CPE510.

However, from the network connected to the FritzBox, I cannot access the CPE510 via LuCI or SSH.

  • I’ve already disabled the firewall on the CPE510.
  • The CPE510 has a static IP (192.168.1.251), and the FritzBox network uses the range 192.168.1.0/24.
  • I can ping devices connected to the FritzBox from the CPE510, but not vice versa.

What I’d like to achieve is to access the CPE510’s LuCI and SSH interfaces from the FritzBox network.

Any advice or suggestions on what might be causing this issue or how to resolve it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help!

You changed the CPE510 lan subnet to something else (non-overlapping), right?

Go to LuCI->Network->Firewall and create a traffic rule like this.
