Unable to access internet on openwrt through wan

i have installed openwrt version 23.05.02 on mikrotik router.and i have access to the luci page.but when connected internnet to the router,and through ethernet connected to lap .i am unable to get internet .

The most common mistake is that the routers address is the same or in the subnet of the main/ISP router.

So as a quick fix change the routers address from 192.168.**1**.1 to 192.168.**2**.1, note it is the third octet we are changing not the last number

Change in Network > LAN interface > IPv4 address
