Not sure why you want a new section (instead of editing LAN) - but maybe uci add - perhaps?

When I initially startup OpenWrt on my laptop after installing it, I can't connect to the Internet

How do I connect to a wifi router from a laptop? It's using an Intel PRO/Wireless 4965 AGN. I don't currently have Internet access on this device, so I guess I would need to add the required driver to enable it. How would I do that?
