I saw that pbe-5ac is supported, and thought maybe they just forgot about pbe-2ac, since it's the old 2.4 GHz standard.
There is no OpenWrt specifically for this device. All of the 5 GHz "Gen 2" ac dishes with one Ethernet port are the same chipset with different antennas, so you could try one of those builds. It is simple to debrick by booting with the reset button held down then sending the stock firmware over TFTP.
Use the last version 23 OpenWrt. The flash write bug which appeared with version 23 was fixed around 23.03. But then it was re-introduced in v24.
Should I also use TFTP to install the OpenWrt firmware?
That will not work. You have to use the process in the wiki because the TFTP recovery only accepts signed firmware.
I installed openwrt-22.03.7, but after rebooting, the settings are reset.
The problem is solved. I flashed sysupgrade inside the OpenWrt panel.
