for me it is very hard and frustrating 
to set up this whole device. I could not find a guide for the following:
I want:
Home-PC -> Ethernet-Port -> USB-LAN-Port -> Internet

Have you successfully got Internet connectivity yet (no VPN)?
And how is VPN connected in the equation?
Generally speaking, if you add a wan interface on eth1 and assign it to wan zone, you are good to go.
yes I got everything working, ping google.com works.
VPN is not configured yet. I wanted to set up Wireguard. If that is not possible, openvpn.
But first, I want to figure out how to set up all the necessary interfaces for this.
Isnt there someone who did this already ?
There are lots of guides.
Wireguard is easy to setup and high performance.
Will this VPN be connecting to a commercial VPN provider? Or site-to-site? or will it be a "road warrior" type setup?
