I have been trying to upgrade my Titan HT-TM05 from an old version of OpenWrt with no joy. I'm sure I will need to go through the hop process (where I do a bunch of upgrades stepping from at least the end of each major version) but not 100% sure of how I need to go about it.
I thought I could just follow the instructions here https://openwrt.org/toh/hootoo/ht-tm05 to upgrade to the latest version. So I get down to the section where it says "Now that there is a release specific for the HT-TM05, this is the method for installing:" and follow those instructions. However, I assumed this was old information and above it when it says "Latest Firmware (21.02.0-22.03.0) (October 2022)" that was just not updated. Because I found version 24.10.1 for the HT-TM05 here https://firmware-selector.openwrt.org/?version=24.10.1&target=ramips%2Fmt7620&id=hootoo_ht-tm05 and I used that. I followed the steps all the way to step 12. However, when I changed my PC back to DHCP there was no DHCP server listening to hand out an IP for me. I then realized version 24 did not have a ROOTFS file to download and I used KERNEL (INITRAMFS) for the "kernel" file and SYSUPGRADE for the "rootfs" file.
Do I need to go download v22.03.0 files somehow? I think I might have bricked my HT-TM05. Before when I went into recovery/upgrade/maintenance/flash mode it would turn the LED blue and now when I try it just stays green and never tries to download from my TFTP server.
Hoping someone can guide me in the right direction. Thanks!
