Trouble with USB3 HDD after upgrade to 18.06

Hi folks

I had a working setup with a USB 3 external HD using ext4 before the upgrade from 17.x but since I've upgrade to 18 today I can't seem to get it working properly.

When I lsusb I do see the drive:

Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0bc2:3322 Seagate RSS LLC SRD0NF2 [Expansion Desktop Drive]
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

But block info does not show it, and there is no sdx in /dev

Thanks for any advice.

Have you installed kmod-usb-storage and the various Kernel modules for USB HDDs?

I did. I followed the wiki, but it doesn't really give explanation in regards to troubleshooting each step.
I also tried removing them, on the off chance because of this: USB Drivers (18.06.0) but nothing worked any better.

Did you try installing kmod-usb-storage-uas?

THANK YOU SO MUCH Per! I'm nearly certain that package was never mentioned in the wiki pages I was reading but maybe I skipped over. Either way thank you so much
