This cannot be right, is it ? Its freaking me out.
Your screenshot or video doesn't clearly show the "not stopping" you described.
- Where are you running the GUI?
- Make/model device and version of OpenWrt?
- Version of Tranmission service on OpenWrt?
Yeah, it was a hasty event. I was just in time to install screen recorder
and press record
in full screen to capture this. Unfortunately there was also some private information on the screen, so I opted to replay and record again
from the capture what was needed. On top of that the conversion to gif did not add to the clarity I'm sure.
However you can see the torrent going from Downloading from webseeds
to Paused
and while it is in state Paused
you can still see the percentage and data counters increase.
Linux/Desktop
NanoPi-R6C - OpenWrt 24.10.0-rc6, r28388-58d0057481
- luci-app-transmission - 25.027.83426~170375e
- transmission-daemon - 4.0.6-r1
- transmission-web - 4.0.6-r1
Does it stop after a delay?
Yes it did at 97.xx% iirc, after reassessing the situation I came up with following theory:
- There were a lot of webseeds, the torrent had proper speed.
- A good percentage might use UDP
- Download was small 1.24gb
I think whatever came in after I hit pause, was already sent out.
