Transmission - How to test if going through VPN?

HI,

Just enable Transmission Service in OpenWRT OpenWrt 21.02.3.
OpenWRT is setup so that all my local network traffic is going through a VPN but I would like to test if Transmission traffic is going through the VPN.

Is there a simple way to test this ?

traceroute the IPs listed in transmission, from the router, compare
with the traceroute from your clients, going to the same IPs ...

(or any IP or DNS, actually)

Using headless transmission-daemon on my router...may I ask where I can find the "IP's listed in transmission" ?

you can figure it out using netstat, I guess, but it's easier to do it for some known site/IP like 8.8.8.8.

there's a transmission web ui package available.
