Tplink RE650 V1 power button not working?

Hello together,

I am using the tplink RE650 v1 with Openwrt SW 22.03.5 the latest version.

If I press the power button to shutdown the devices the power led is off but the power consumption stay constantly with 4 watts.

Any ideas ?

I don't have my RE650 physically near me, but I'm going out on a limb and guess the MT7621AT SoC is not actually able to power off through software. If so, the poweroff command shuts everything down and then holds the SoC in an eternal NOP/"do nothing" loop. This would mean that the system is not actually powered down, it just "plays dead".
