TP Link XX230v (EU) V1.0

Hi guys I bought this router [TP LINK - XX230v (EU) V1.0] yesterday it’s an a Gpon And I’m wondering if I can get OpenWRT installed on?

there's currently no support for it, but if you open it up, we might be able to tell you if it's supportable.

Go to OEM web interface, set log level to maximu/debug
Power off and on and paste the acquired boot log here.

If there is any place you can download firmware updates post a link here.
More or less if gpon is a discrete circuit handling the provider config part it becomes generic netcard, if not - only non-gpon part may be operated by own operating system.

There is no way to know without opening?

what @brada4 wrote, assuming that info is available anywhere in the UI.

Even if the hardware were supportable, which is doubtful, support for GPON functionality is not even remotely in sight.

In the very expensive case pon module is self-contained like sfp, This but {BR} firmware says econet xpon, which roughly means laser is soldered to pcb and config logic is in SoC.
