There also doesnt seem to exist a specific guide for flashing OpenWrt to the router. Would need help finding the factory file or an alternative method that works with the vr2600v v1. I also own a TP-Link vx800v but it is not supported.
I have a VDSL2 connection.
The VDSL part doesn't work in Openwrt.
Ok got it! Thanks!
Are there any VDSL2 routers that support features like sqm and qos? Im having issues with bufferbloat (+20ms download / +70ms upload on a 100/40 mbit/s connection)
All Openwrt devices support it, question is if they got CPU enough to shape it...
If you can put the vx800v into bridge mode, the vr2600v running OpenWrt purely as a router could then provide the SQM/QoS you're looking for. Any VDSL2 modem that can run in bridge mode can be used in front of any router (running OpenWrt or otherwise) so that can be very flexible.
The only all-in-one solution likely to meet your requirements would be the Fritz!Box 7520/7530.
