Tp-link MR6400 v5.3 not exposing ttyUSBx MR6400 v7.0 is

I have 2 different router types same model Tp-link MR-6400 but different hardware versions 5.3 and 7.0

the 7.0 exposes ttyUSBx but 5.3 doesnt

any idea why and suggestions
i have a bunch of these and i rely on ttyUSBx for them to be usefull to me

TP-Link TL-MR6400 v5 - LTE but no internet connection

This vid:pid is not in the driver I was sure it is already there. You will need to execute: echo "05c6 9025 ff" > /sys/bus/usb-serial/drivers/option1/new_id Then you will probably need to use /dev/ttyUSB2 instead of USB1 as the driver will also grab ADB interface and that will create an offset.
