TP Link AX6000 firmwares?

Hi all,

I was browsing through the source from TP Link's gpl downloads. It looks like they're already using OpenWrt (the AX6000 source I saw was using a 4.1 Linux kernel)

There's a config file with the following in it:

OpenWrt version: Attitude Adjustment (r2447) (in iplatform.config)

with a log time stamp of Wed Dec 10 10:51:06 2014!!!

So, it shouldn't be hard to update them, right?

TP-Link Archer AX6000 support?

bought this device on black friday, coudn't find any ducomenation on OpenWrt support. will this be supported?

TP-Link Archer AX6000 V1 releases GPL Code

I am uncertain what chipset, the TP-Link Archer AX6000 V1 router uses. But it's so rare that any manufacture releases code concerning a Wi-Fi 6 router. If I had to guess, I would assume Intel, since it seems they flooded the market with WiFi 6. Anyway, TP-Links seems more focused than not on v2 and their other routers, so they have released the GPL Code. I'm sure someone who knows a thing or two can use this somehow. I meant in general, not just for that device....

Edit: oops, never mind, just read the entire thread. The broadcom drivers are closed source
