TP-Link AX3000 v1.0

Hello! I see that others have posted about this router before but no one ever seems to have any results to share or stories to document. From what I can gather from the settings and firmware present on the machine, it is the v1, not the v1.6 or v2.6. In one of the IRC channels I've been looking for support in, someone mentioned that the unit hypothetically has enough RAM for this to be feasible. I'm unsure of where to go from here. I've never installed 3rd party firmware on a router before. I would love to be able to set this up to host some shared Obsidian notes between my friends and I.

For the record, I found this curbside in a pile of other stuff people were giving away, so if it gets borkd trying to make something more useful out of it, I won't be the most upset.

post a photo of the bottom sticker, mask the MACs and bar code.

is that certain? mine runs a different firmware from what they're offering for the AX50 on TP-Link's support page. The shell is mostly the same but the USB is 2.0 and it has Intel branding on the top.

FCC ID is AX50.

TE7 = TP-Link.

Lantiq is Intel.

If you want to be sure, open it up.
