TP-LINK Archer C7 Version?

Hey Peeps,
I need some help for my first installation. Could anyone?

I'm looking for the right install vers. for my TP-LINK Archer C7. On my router it says Ver: 1.5.

But in the install drop down on openWrt there are only:

TP-LINK Archer C7 v1 (ar71xx/generic)
and
TP-Link Archer C7 v1 (ath79/generic)

Which one is the right one for me?

Both will work, ath79 should however save you space for additional packages.

Do you know the difference between ar71 and ath79? Or what does it mean?

Different software for the wifi part.
ath79 is the new one, ar71xx will be dropped.

From an end user point of view, there shouldn't be any difference.

Be aware that the QCA9880-AR1A 5 GHz radio of the c7-v1 is not supported (this early silicon turned out to be faulty and support for it was dropped from ath10k ages ago).
