TP-Link Archer C7 v3.0/4.0 supported?

Does anyone know if TP-Link Archer C7 v3.0/4.0
According to to this link: https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/archer-c5-c7-wdr7500
it is difficult to say as v3 and 4 is described with "???"

Anybody know what is the latest status?

https://openwrt.org/toh/start?dataflt[Model*~]=Archer+C7

Thanks mbo2o.
I obviously checked that too and that is even more confusing.

  1. It shows no Device Page for v4... so, unsupported?
  2. v3 is not even mentioned there unless it is this same what Archer C7R WDR7500 (but that is not clear)
  3. ToH shows even v5 which is not mentioned anywhere in wiki (link on my 1st post).

So, im still puzzled.

  • The absence of a devicepage does not tell you anything about the support status.
  • If your device is not listed in the ToH, it is most likely not suported.
  • v3 CN version is supported. Do you have the chinese version?
  • v4 is supported

Hi Tomomas,
thanks fro your reply and clarification.
However, if you look back on the wiki page, you will see this:

  1. There is no firmware for Archer C7 AC1750 v 3,4,5. Only 1.0 and 1.1. Unless this is one firmware for all?
  2. I assume that model: Archer C7 AC1750 is different than Archer C7R WDR7500?
  3. According to wiki 18.06.x is not available for C7 AC1750. Only 15.05.1 (which is probably outdated info)
  4. I have an offer to buy Archer C7 AC1750 v4 but wiki does not provide clear information whether it is supported or not. ToH does say it is supported but does not give the link to the firmware.

The top of the Wiki has a warning inside a red box, basically it is no longer up to date

This wiki is read only and for archival purposes only. >>>>>>>>>> Please use the new OpenWrt wiki at https://openwrt.org/ <<<<<<<<<<

All are supported by latest version. The v4 is a cut down variant (no minipcie and only 1 CPU Ethernet port)

Just for info: v3 works with v2 images, see
