I have OpenWRT version 19.01 running on my TP-Link c7 v2 router. The network adapters are from Atheros AG71xx.
When I use my first network interface with:
root@rome03:~# ethtool eth0 Settings for eth0: Supported ports: [ ] Supported link modes: 1000baseT/Full Supported pause frame use: No Supports auto-negotiation: No Supported FEC modes: Not reported Advertised link modes: 1000baseT/Full Advertised pause frame use: No Advertised auto-negotiation: No Advertised FEC modes: Not reported Speed: 1000Mb/s Duplex: Full Port: MII PHYAD: 0 Transceiver: internal Auto-negotiation: on Current message level: 0x000000ff (255) drv probe link timer ifdown ifup rx_err tx_err Link detected: yes
Folgender Kernel ist installiert:
root@rome03:~# uname -r 4.14.167
I found the following page on the net:
[type or paste code here](https://lkml.org/lkml/2019/10/29/269)
On the website I find the following note: "net: stmmac: Do not stop PHY if WoL is enabled"
Why can't the network adapters do WOL?
Do I have to install a newer kernel?
