TP link archer c6 v3.2 lan ports stopped working after 24.10.1

hey guys

i was on 23.05.5 i just updated my router archer c6 v3.2 router to the latest version of openwrt 24.10.1 and after that i did a factory reset of my router

now if i connect my laptop to my router through lan it shows unidentified network and also openwrt.lan page doesnt load and i tested all of my lan port but still the issue is same.

i tried to press the wps button too to get radio working but that doesnt work too..

now i dont know how to get into my router configuration page to go back to 23.05.5 firmware.

anyone please help.

Make sure to connect your computer via ethernet to one of the lan ports on your C6. Do not make any other network connections on your computer or the router. Make sure that wifi is disabled on your computer. Then, check the computer's ethernet port to see if it has an address. It should if the ports and OpenWrt are working properly. Please report back with that info and what address it has (it should be 192.168.1.x).

You should also be able to ping the router or connect via ssh at 192.168.1.1 from your computer. And, if you installed a proper stable release (and not snapshot), you should also be able to use a web browser with the same address.

yes im connecting my computer to one of 4 lan ports on the router (not wan port)

no it doesnt have address.

it was working fine on 23.05.5 i flashed 24.10.1 via the ethernet cable.

You can ignore the "unidentified network" thing -- that's just Windows being windows.

Your system has an IPv6 link local address, so that suggests that OpenWrt is actually running. Give it just a bit longer to see if it manages to get an IPv4 address.

If it doesn't get an address, you can try setting it manually to something like 192.168.1.4 and then try pining 192.168.1.1.

Upgrade to 24.10.1 went smoothly for me. No problems noticed so far.

tried...it didn't worked for me.

after couple of try of plugging and unplugging ethernet cable it worked now i'm back to 23.05.5.

If hardware itself is fine it works well with 24.10 and 24.10.1. To be honest Archer is not particularly robustly built.
