I just installed OpenWRT 22.03.5 on my Archer C6 (EU) V2 and it runs almost perfect.
The only issue is the WiFi. On the Archer C6 wikipage, it is suggested to use the closed-source Wifi driver instead of the open-source one for better compatibility. I followed the steps and uninstalled the open source in favor of the closed source ones. However, it doesn't seem to work on my end. In LuCI --> Network --> Wifi, it displays only "Generic 802.11bg" instead of Qualcomm. The 5G Wifi band renders unusable. Alongside with the 5G Wifi, the next issue is the 2.4G Wifi band. The internet speed heavily drops only up to 20 Mbits only. I have a 250Mbit line.
For instance, I tested with the Archer C6 (v3.2) and it reaches ~240 Mbits.
Any suggestions?
