TP-Link Archer C5 V2.0 support

Dear friends,

I just purchased a TP-Link Archer C5 v2.0.
It is cheap (around 50€), has dual wireless (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz) and Gigabit wired Internet.
Will report compatibility with LEDE.

Kind regard

Shall I build it from GIT myself?

C5 v2 is Broadcom, so you're unlikely to get wireless to work.

Handled in commit 0a05fbd135663 ("bcm53xx: add support for TP-LINK Archer C5 V2"):
https://git.lede-project.org/?p=source.git;a=commit;h=0a05fbd1356631a1f903adcd63ffb05550537667

As ender wrote, be aware of limitations. I listed them on OpenWrt wiki months/years ago:

Great news!!!

What? Where?

@Thinkcat There, right before your eyes:

@rmilecki The install method is directly from the TP-Link router web page (like C7 v2 and etc..)? Or is different?

Thanks,

Yes image (firmware) format is supposed to be compatible with original images (firmwares) format.

@rmilecki, Hi, nice to meet you.

I'm having issues trying to flash my Archer C5 V2.0.

Do you think you could take a look ar my post?

Thanks in advance!

Anyone can give any hint on this?

Thanks!
