On OpenWRT (old versions) there used to be an option to load "blob" driver for wifi for specific Broadcom models. Is this possible also for LEDE? Or nobody bothers?
Might be nice - the router is quite cheap and HW seems solid. Too bad it's Broadcom based 
That only covers relatively old Broadcom wireless chipsets and doesn't support anything recent (definately nothing 802.11ac based).
